Our May 15th Toolbox meeting.  From 4.00pm, sometimes closing at 6:30pm

With the clubrooms required the following week and Albany, the week after, we’ve decided to finish the enjoyable task we began a couple of months ago, when we cleared the storeroom and fitted the new shelving. Very nostalgic for longer term club members and certainly interesting for newbies. We’ll run the meeting on the Friday of the general meeting week.

As a sideline, I’d like to introduce Polly, Perkolilli Polly that is, the latest addition to our growing collection, at this meeting. Polly is a prewar 1939 Austin 8 Tourer and at 87 years of age she’s performing well both as a daily driver and dry lake racer. She raced at the Lake Perkolilli Red Dust Revival in 2022 and more recently we trailered her to Beverely for track testing with other vintage racers and speedsters.
