JCCWA- 60th Anniversary Albany Classic Around the Houses
Albany Classic Motor Event – 28 May to 4 June 2026
Australia’s premier “round-the-houses” racing weekend is back and Albany will once again transform into a street-circuit festival of engines, atmosphere, and classic motoring fun.
Book early! Accommodation fills quickly for this weekend, and it would be a shame to miss out because you left it too late.
Itinerary
Thursday 28th May – Optional Pre-Tour Drive
10:00am – Depart Perth (via Margaret River & Boranup Forest)
For those who’d like to arrive in Albany with a bit of flair, Ray Norton will lead the pre-tour group and stay overnight at:

Friday morning: Scenic drive through Boranup Forest and onward to Albany
ETA Albany: approx. 3:00pm
Friday 29th May – Arrive Albany
Make your own way to Albany (or arrive via the pre-tour drive).

Watch the competitors “speed” up the course from excellent viewing areas.
Afternoon: Currently free time (whale tours & local activities available).
Updates will be provided if other group activities are arranged.

Sunday 31st May – Main Event DAY
Albany CBD Racing & Festival Starts 9:30am
The town is set up overnight for racing — enjoy the action from multiple vantage points around the course. Any car displays or additional events will be advised as confirmed.

Monday 1st June – Free Day (For Now)
A relaxed day at this stage. Many venues appear to be closed, however members can explore Albany or begin the journey home.
Many will probably return to Perth on Monday.
Post Tour Drive
Those staying on may join the Post-Tour Drive to Bridgetown (departing Tuesday 2 June).

9:30am – Depart Albany via Frankland
