RAAFA Aviation Heritage Museum Tour & Lunch on Wednesday, 20th July.
We will meet in front of the museum at 10am for tours from 10.30am. Numbers will be kept to 24 people, 12 people in each tour, led by an experienced volunteer.
The Aviation Museum contains over 35 aircraft, military and civil, aircraft engines, thousands of artefacts of historical significance to Australian aviation and over 200 aircraft models. Entry is $5 per person.
Extra tours of the Dakota C47 and Lancaster aircraft after lunch can be booked by members at the museum desk.
The tour will take approximately 1.5 hours. Lunch will be in the RAAFA Bowling Club and Restaurant next door from 12pm.
We will have a separately function room next to the main restaurant. The menu is a la carte, with seniors' and specials meals also available.
Members order food and drinks from the counter and meals are delivered to the table.
Numbers are capped at 24 (total) for the tour purposes. There is plentiful parking outside the museum and restaurant. This will be a popular event so may we suggest you book early to secure your place(s).
