Hotham Valley Railway Vintage Dining Experience

You are welcome to join the E Type Register weekend run Sat 30th April- Sun 1st May 22

Join with us and enjoy driving your Jaguar along an interesting back roads journey to the town of Dwellingup. On route we will visit a scenic attraction and partake in a light lunch at a local family run orchard and fruit stall café. After lunch which we will check into our overnight accommodation and then enjoy a rest or a stroll around the town before meeting at the Dwellingup Hotel for pre-dinner drinks at around 5.30pm.

At about 7 pm we will walk across the road from the hotel to the Dwellingup Railway Station and board the Hotham Valley Railway Restaurant train for a fun filled ‘black and white night’ rail journey and vintage dining experience from the days gone bye. A five-course meal will be served in the 1919 Vintage Dining car from the onboard wood stove as our train meanders through the night forest which will be softly floodlit from the train.

Dress for dinner is ‘black and white’ attire please.

On Sunday morning you are also welcome to join other members for a mid-morning breakfast at a local venue before we make our way home.

Early reservation of venues has been made due to the high level of public bookings being experienced on the Hotham Valley Railway at this time of the year and also for nearby accommodation in Dwellingup. The run is limited to 40 persons as this is the maximum number that can be accommodated in the Vintage Restaurant Car which has been fully booked by the JCCWA. Please don't delay in booking if you want to part of this dining experience as places are strictly limited.
