This year the Houghton's display day theme will be based around a family picnic and just relaxing in such a beautiful garden setting whilst chatting to other members. 

Houghton have for many years been very generous in allowing us the use of the  delightful grassed area at their winery and as usual, we need to comply with their rules for the use of the area:

·             Pets and BBQ’s are not permitted. There are no BBQs on site so it’s either bring your own (cold) lunch or buy from Houghtons’ Café. If you want to dine in at the Café, so it’s suggested that you should make a booking as it is expected to be a busy day for them (phone: 9274 9540).

·             no pegs, pickets or other sharp nasty things are to be knocked into the ground (could damage their sprinklers or retic systems), and

·             NO BYO alcohol, repeat NO alcohol may be brought on to the site. This is a condition imposed by the Liquor Licencing on Houghtons’ winery and restaurant liquor licence and is not Houghtons’ own rule to promote sales of their own product. It applies to their restaurant facility and all grounds that are accessible to the public which of course includes our car display area. If you bring any alcohol you are breaking the law and compromising our host’s liquor licence.

This is our premier annual display event so it would be great to have a big turn out. It’s a great day in a great setting, with the best of company – Jaguar nuts.
